Welcome to the HOLO Project.
Below you will see the original HOLO Vol.1, my first attempt at a holographic style design. I wanted to incorporate the holographic style to portions of the design to give it a more up to date feel but also keep that retro feeling too. To keep that retro feeling I added the barcode with an old school font at the bottom left. I tried to keep the design as simple as possible but at the same time keeping it interesting to look at.

After I got thinking about how I could improve this style of design. I decided to add a texture over the top to give it a more aged feel. As if it was an old cassette or cd that has been scratched and worn down. I then added a color correction over the top to give it a more brighter and shinier look to it, rather than just a black and white design.

I then came up with the idea to add a affect to the top left corner to give it a realistic feel, as if you were holding the design and the light caught it at an angle.
